Question
on startup in win xp i got error like "system3_.exe" file not found , search again .......... what kind of error is this? plz help me.

Install Autoruns and then run it. Wait until the scan is complete (as shown in the lower left corner) and then click on the "Logon" tab. Search through the entries in the right-hand column ("Image Path") for an entry that includes "system3_.exe". When you find it, UNcheck the box at the left end of the line and reboot your computer. The error should no longer appear.
If you can't find "system3_.exe" in the Logon tab, click the "Everything" tab. Then click File > Find to search for "system3_.exe".
I would be interested in learning what caused this particular problem,so when you find the entry, please right-click on it and select copy. Then paste into a Reply here.MS MVP (Windows Desktop Experience) 2006-2009
